]]>The current location of Outreach Services is ideal for several reasons, and relocation is detrimental to the vital assistance Outreach Services provides to the student body at Durham College and UOIT. This relocation is particularly problematic as it is so inconveniently scheduled for the beginning of the school year, and students will experience a high level of disruption to services.
Outreach Services has created a petition to put a stop to the relocation, and encourages students to write to the President of Durham College, Don Lovisa, informing him why the current location is essential to the work that Outreach does. Students are invited to come to Outreach Services in SSB120 to sign the petition, find Outreach booths around CampusFest, and engage online.
Let the college know they need to show a commitment to the safety and success of everyone on campus by supporting Outreach Services, opening a dialogue with The SA about its location, and listening to its students.
