The Special Events Auxiliary Team (SEAT) started off as a volunteer based organization to assist in fulfilling additional surveillance at major College and University events. It’s incorporated into two Durham College Justice programs. SEAT provides students with a valuable hands-on opportunity to transition their theory skills into practical abilities. SEAT is now involved in many on campus events ensuring students safety while still providing an innovative and unique teaching style, which allows Justice Students to directly apply the fundamental principals of security, taught by professionals in the security field.
