- Be 18 years or older
- Be a full member of the Student Association (full-time at Durham College or UOIT)
- Must be bondable
- Have applied for a police check prior to being elected to office (candidates must submit an original receipt in order to be reimbursed)
- Must present a MyCampus transcript showing a cumulative final GPA of 60% (Board of Directors may show a transcript from a previous post secondary institution or high school)
- Must present the required amount of valid nominations
- Must attend the All Candidate’s meeting as set by the Chief Returning Officer (CRO)
- Candidates for Officer positions (President and Institutional VP’s) must be legally eligible to work full-time in Canada
- Submit completed Nomination Package to the CRO prior to the close of the Nomination Period
