Mission Statement

The Student Association provides all students with a positive academic experience by developing a sense of community and diversity on campus through the deliverance of superior advocacy, support and services.

Because the Student Association at Durham College and UOIT exists, students will have:

• A positive experience and enjoy a sense of community
• Social interaction
• A voice
• Awareness of their rights
• The right to be heard
• Good information, assistance and support regarding their rights, services, appeals, etc.
• Skills development: leadership, intellectual, moral consciousness, etc.
• Safety: physical, emotional and financial
